Finish a session
- Use the normal stop control in each workspace to stop active replay, tracking, teleoperation, recording, or policy execution.
- Place the follower in a safe pose and support it.
- Turn off header Servo torque and check that the follower actually relaxes. If you used a leader, check that it is also relaxed.
- Close the app. If a shutdown safety message appears, wait for cleanup to finish.
- Switch off motor power, then disconnect USB.
Do not force-close the app if torque release cannot be confirmed. Do not approach the robot. Cut physical power, then record the on-screen recovery instructions and errors.
Inspect the equipment
| When | What to inspect |
|---|---|
| Before every use | Base boards, assembly screws, cables, connectors, and motion paths |
| After every use | Heat, noise, smell, scratches, collision marks, and on-screen errors |
| Weekly | Joint play, base-board assembly screws, cable insulation, and camera mounting |
| After collision or repair | Stop use, inspect mechanical and electrical condition, and assess the need for new calibration |
Clean the equipment
Disconnect both power and USB, then wipe with a dry, soft cloth. Do not apply liquid or compressed air directly into connectors or joint gaps.
